GAEL is a composer, producer and DJ from Dagestan, raised in Ukraine and based in Berlin.

Her film work combines electronic and techno-driven sound design with live guitar, building scores around texture, tension and contrast. She composed the score for the Ukrainian documentary Ada by Alina Matockina, and their music was featured in the German film Fernlicht by Johanna Schorn Kalinsky. They recently completed Berklee's Film Scoring.

Beyond film, GAEL co-runs the label Noise Daughters, has released music on BITE Records and Flash Recordings, and has performed at Berghain, Tresor, Nuits Sonores and Opera Forward Festival, where they reinterpreted a classical piece in collaboration with Dekmantel and Dutch Opera. Their guitar-driven project shemovesshe explores the space between vulnerability and rupture.

Shaped by migration and a practice across many genres, GAEL treats sound as a language that adapts to each story.
